After graduating from medical school in New Delhi (India), Puneet inherited
family business that manufactured tooth brushes. Soon after he immigtared to the USA where Puneet
founded a company called Dr. Fresh in the same field - manufacturing tooth brushes. The story goes
that upon purchasing sneakers with flashing lights for his daughter, an idea came to him - what if
I create a tooth brush for kids with ... flashing lights! In 2004 Nanda patented his first tooth brush, Fire Fly
and by 2005 it was bringing in 20% of the 50-employee company's $25 million revenues.
Currently Puneet has 58 patents on different goods, all related to oral hygine
and flashing lights!
